If you had more options it would feel understandable to have creatures that have no real weakness or strength. Why keep the options so limited if you're not going to use them for everything. The combat has such a small pool, but even then there are monsters that are neither resistant or weak to any of them. Possibly even made fire and ice their own damage types and made some creatures weak to only one type. If the game diversified it's damages, like Dungeons and Dragons the game it's based off of, and made blunt weapons strong against certain enemies and weak against other. This isn't a bad way to deal with the issue, but it just feels poorly implemented since the game only has 3 types of damage, Holy, Magic, and Physical. If it's 50% or higher then the enemy is considered resistant, same for your team. This game just uses percentages as resistances. It's resistances aren't hard to figure or remember, well maybe now with them adding on each generation, but overall it's a simple system that no one really has complaints about. still if you have weird team comp, it could be issue to defeat immune opponent in later game.Pokemon is one of the most casual games ever. You have to fight over and over because its kind of this game, still you got funny story and dialogs on every 'kill x enemy' quest that i found pretty innovative and fun to read, but seems you like better watch tv and clicking autocombat meanwhile. remember autocombat in hommv? it sucked as well. so stop generalize because its not farming bot, you cant just comfortable focus on watching tv, because still your assist with mouse is required, even in autocombat. I actually thought it was a joke at first, like you'd click the 'GET MORE GOLD' and then there would be a minigame or something fun, or it would pop up a joke and then the button would disappear altogether. The only reason I haven't immediately tried to get a refund for it is because I want to talk to her about it first so she doesn't feel insulted. I can certainly say that if one of the advertising bullets mentioned microtransactions I would never had even glanced twice at it. Yes, it's optional, but I find it actively offensive that a game that cost $15 in the first place has internal transactions that aren't actually content.
